Our practice at the national rocket championships went very well. We are working to get our final models ready before we head to Vienna on August 26, and then on to Slovakia.

Altitude and Scale Altitude; Matt Steele (right) will fly the same events for
the Senior Team. The meet is August 31-Septmber 9, 2012, and over 20 countries

Great Lakes Cup Recap
Cassidy and I had a great time at the Great Lakes Cup Oswego (near Chicago), IL. We had eight good flights out of nine attempts, although problems with the electronic altimeters kept us from recording any altitude data. Our last big practice session is at NARAM in Michigan the first week August.

Cassidy and I are heading to the Chicago area to compete in the Great Lakes Cup over the weekend. This will be our only chance to compete in a world class meet before we leave for Austria and Slovakia at the end of August. We will keep you updated as to the results of our flights, and hope to post some photos, too!

Things are starting to get going! I have gotten a number of master parts made, and we are working on molds to provide parts for both Cassidy's and my models.
We have also started raising fund towards this year's trip. TeamSteele is in the application process to get out 501.3.c non-profit status with the Internal Revenue Service - All donations are tax deductable. Thank you in advance for your interest.

Eyes on 2012
We are starting to get serious for 2012. Both Cassidy and I are working hard on models for testing as the weather gets better in Utah. Matt has made three trips to Arizona to get some test flights in while there was still snow on the ground. We will keep you posted as we start seriously fund raising and flying!
